To offer a broader range of services to our clients at a local level, PrincipleFocus has developed a unique Associates Program. Associates are part-time consultants of PrincipleFocus who are successful top 20% clients and have a track record of successful implementation of PrincipleFocus management principles.
Associates have had a high level of training in core competencies required by a PrincipleFocus consultant, and have demonstrated the necessary balance of personality, skills and experience to be effective coaches and facilitators to our new and existing clients.
Associates aspire to the challenge of helping others to improve their business performance, now that their businesses are performing so well. A strong demand from clients has always existed for one-on-one support as they begin to implement changes in their businesses.

Julie Anderson, Mullaley NSW
Julie lives on a cattle grazing property situated near Mullaley in the Northwest of NSW with her husband Rob, and 3 sons. She is a qualified school teacher and first became involved with PrincipleFocus when she attended a course in 2001 in order to gain more knowledge on business management.
Julie and her husband then progressed through the PrincipleFocus support programs over the next 4 consecutive years. During this time they made dramatic changes to their business using the knowledge gained through PrincipleFocus and the support of their board which has changed their life and business for the better.
Julie has completed the Brian Costello school “Strategies for Financial Advancement” the “Family Succession Planning” course with Lyn Sykes, the Low Stress Stock Handling school, the Alan Parker course “Helping People to Help Themselves” along with PrincipleFocus training days that have been provided. Skills from all these areas have been incorporated into her business and life.

Lachlan Campbell, Wellington NSW
Lachlan Campbell lives on a beef and sheep property near Wellington with his wife Teena and two young daughters. The property is run in partnership with his brother Dugald and his wife, Simone and has been fully developed for cell grazing.
Lachlan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Economics and first became involved with PrincipleFocus after attending a course in 2000. Over the past 7 years, Lachlan has applied the learnings from PrincipleFocus to his own business and has now fully blueprinted his farming operation. The efficient systems now in place gives Lachlan time to pursue his career as a PrincipleFocus Associate. As an Associate, Lachlan facilitates at StrategicFocus meetings, provides one:one consultancy to clients (budgeting, grazing charts, development planning, family succession planning) and also acts as a Client Manager to StrategicFocus Plus clients. Andrew Dowd, Bathurst NSW
Andrew lives in Bathurst with his wife, Suzie and 3 children. After graduating from Wagga Ag College, Andrew worked as a Landcare Co-ordinator at Cowra for 3 years and then at Condobolin for a year covering western NSW.
Whilst working in Landcare, he was exposed to Holistic Farming ideas and decided to go home to the family farm and give it a go. After completing a PrincipleFocus course in 1997 with his brother Matt, the farming business changed from a high input forage production and fat lamb enterprises to a low input cell grazing operation of backgrounded dairy heifers.
Andrew and Suzie employ PrincipleFocus as a business coach / Director of their own business. Andrew is available for consulting on backgrounding cattle, grazing management, watering system design, fencing, grazing charts, values / visions and goal setting, developing a business blueprint, cashflow businesses and managing managers.
Andrew is the CEO for the family business runnng many enterprises including the farm, Lightning Ridge Hotel Motel, Cobar Motel, Golden Guitar Motor Inn, Port Douglas Newsagency, investment units development and property shareholder in a share trading fund.

Erica Halliday, Walcha NSW
Erica is a partner in her family beef and wool operation near Walcha where she custom breeds and markets Angus bulls to corporate companies and long-term clients. She and her husband Stu also have a separate cow/calf enterprise in the State Forests of NSW.
After completing a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics, she went on to do further study in Animal Science with a scholarship at the University of Illinois, USA. Erica is a former Facilitator/Project Officer for the Angus Society of Australia, and teaches Beef Cattle Export and Domestic Specifications to graziers.
Erica became involved with PrincipleFocus in 1997. After attending a course, both her and husband Stu to start a grazing business with no land, no stock and no money in 2001 to their exisiting thriving cow/calf enterprise in the State Forest and other more civilised locations.
Erica's hobbies include her kids Jack and Maggie, "sacred " Angus cows, basketball for short fiery people, hockey, and scaling gorges (with Stu, her horse and dogs) looking for cattle in the State Forest." She owes her current sanity to Bud and Eunice Williams.

Simon Hicks - Associate, NSW
Simon grew up farming in England and studied Agriculture at The University College of Wales, Aberystwyth.
Since graduating he has worked in the Beef and Dairy industries in the UK, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Moving permanently to Australia in 1997, he worked first in the Queensland Gulf country, before spending 3 years as a consultant and trainer with RCS based in Yeppoon. In 2004, while still maintaining part time work for RCS and PrincipleFocus, he moved to Northern NSW to take on the development of a cattle trading business based on 6800 acres near Glen Innes, which has been developed for cell grazing and now includes a breeder and trader enterprise based on nearby lease country.

Kevin Johnson - Associate, SA
Kevin has had 43 years experience in agriculture. Kevin has been married for 36 years to Lyn. The have three children Simon, Natalie and Marnie and 2 grandchildren. Kevin and Lyn with Simon and Annie operate a family business. The agriculture enterprise is Beef Cattle breeding, Shorthorn Stud and composite animals. They have embarked on a soil health programme using cell grazing and biological methods. Monitoring grazing charts is a very important part of the operation.
Prior to completing a course with PrincipleFocus in 1997 farming had become a very stressful environment for Kevin both financially and lifestyle.
Having completed PrincipleFocus support programs - the education and process has enabled him to have a happy and united family business, complete with a succession plan and wealth creation.

| Bryan Kiss - Associate, Wellington NSW
After two years working on cattle a property in the NT, then travelling the world and building boats, Bryan returned home to the family farm in 1986. It was in the next ten years that Bryan’s search for a more innovating agriculture system, leading him to PrincipleFocus where he completed his first course 1996.
Since then he completed specifc training on grazing management with PrincipleFocus, developed 3 properties into cells, coached other businesses, provided consultancy on Property Plans and blueprinted his own business.
Bryan has the unique position of having implemented a lot of the PrincipleFocus grazing principles on his properties, as well as on country he leases, in the Central West Slopes of NSW. Having been through the entire capacity building program, this gives him strong knowledge base to draw from, for his facilitating and general consulting role in the grazing industry.

David Read - Associate, VIC
David grew up on his family’s dairy farm at Maffra. He completed a 2 year Farm Management Course at Dookie in 1986-87. After graduating, David worked in sales at a large rural merchandise store in Sale for 4 years. In 1991 he became Manager of the Maffra store.
In 1993 David commenced working for his wife, Ruth's family farm, Woodcote. It is a 982Ha property running Angus cattle and Merino sheep near Stratford. In 2001 David attended a PrincipleFocus course and commenced cell grazing immediately after on Woodcote.
Seeing the results & benefits of being associated with progressive thinkers & educators such as those at PrincipleFocus, David then enrolled in the support and capacity building program with the management team of Woodcote. His areas of interest include technology, computers and farm planning.

Amanda Roughan, Toogoolawah QLD
Amanda is a management consultant based in South East Queensland. She holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hons) Degree and has had over 7 years of experience as a rural business consultant across Australia and overseas. Amanda is passionate about servicing the needs of farming families to create a sustainable future.
With PrincipleFocus, Amanda plays a key role with business development, facilitating StrategicFocus boards, consulting and client management.
In her spare time she assists her husband Bill with the management of their veterinary clinic in Toogoolawah and the day to day running of his family's beef property locally.

Angus Whyte, Wentworth NSW
Gus lives at Wyndham Station (which is a 12,500ha grazing property on the Anabranch River in far western NSW), with his wife Kelly and son Mitchell. He has had a strong interest in land management for many years and grew up on a property 20km north of Wentworth that is still run by his parents in conjunction with his own property. Gus attended Longreach Pastoral College before moving back to Wyndham. He became involved with PrincipleFocus after completing courses in 2001 and has been an active Associate since 2005. Gus facilitates StrategicFocus boards and provides one:one consultancy to clients with a particular focus on managing rangeland environments. He plays an active role in his own region chairing a number of community groups including: - Rangeland Management Action Plan (RMAP) –a non government not for profit community initiative. - Pooncarie Field Day Group – as above, which runs a very successful field day bi-annually - Deputy Chairman of Anabranch Water which has just had constructed a pressurised pipeline to provide water to 42 landholders that used to receive water from the Anabranch River.
